Jing Zhang is a landscape architect and designer based in Los Angeles whose work is rooted in a deep appreciation for residential architecture, California living, and the relationship between landscape and everyday life. Educated at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, where she received her Master of Landscape Architecture, Jing brings over fifteen years of professional experience designing residential estates, gardens, mixed-use communities, hospitality environments, and civic landscapes throughout the United States and internationally.

Having practiced in Los Angeles through leadership roles at RIOS and SWA Group, Jing has developed a strong understanding of the architectural traditions and lifestyle aspirations that define Southern California residential design. From Mediterranean and Spanish Colonial Revival estates to contemporary California indoor-outdoor living environments, her work draws inspiration from the region’s climate, gardens, natural light, and architectural heritage, creating spaces that feel timeless, elegant, and deeply connected to their setting.

Jing’s design approach combines traditional spatial sensibilities with contemporary tools and innovation. With extensive experience in parametric modeling, digital visualization, and form-finding methodologies, she is able to explore complex design ideas while maintaining sensitivity to scale, detail, and livability. Her projects range from private residential gardens and estate planning to larger master-planned communities and urban developments across California, Florida, and other regions of the United States. Throughout her career, she has contributed to numerous award-winning projects and international design competitions, always with a commitment to thoughtful craftsmanship, environmental responsibility, and refined execution.
